Which plan fits your workflow?

Compare personal plans by an ordinary billing cycle of useful work. Choose a team seat when administration is required, and calculate seat cost plus optional usage before deciding.

Billing, regions and extra costs

These USD prices exclude applicable tax. Included model usage is not a fixed universal request count. This table excludes regional INR-only Start and custom Enterprise pricing; legacy request-based plans can have different rules.

Regional checkout, taxes and store subscriptions can differ from web pricing. No regional price arbitrage or fixed personal allowance is implied by this snapshot.

Monthly plan and model consumption

Use the reviewed plan table for the subscription component of your budget. A request count is not a comparable workload: a long agent session and a short completion can consume different model usage. Record the selected model and the usage dashboard entry when comparing a normal month.

The official documentation describes separate Cursor Models and Other Models pools with monthly billing-cycle resets. Included capacity and optional on-demand spending need separate budget lines. Check which pool a request uses before treating unused capacity as interchangeable.

Individual plan: include extra spending

Illustrative month: Pro at the reviewed $20 price plus an assumed $12 of on-demand spending totals $32 before tax. That is $28 below Pro Plus at $60. If the same Pro workflow instead needs an assumed $50 extra, its total is $70, or $10 above the Pro Plus subscription price.

These extra amounts are scenario inputs, not observed invoices. The arithmetic alone does not establish that Pro Plus includes that identical workload. Compare actual model mix, included capacity and the dashboard consumption on each plan before upgrading.

Teams: count seat types

At the reviewed prices, three Standard seats cost 3 × $40 = $120 per month. Three Standard seats plus one Premium seat cost 3 × $40 + $120 = $240 before tax or additional usage. Write down seat changes and their effective billing dates before estimating a full cycle.

Compare a mixed-seat total with the administration features your organization needs. Do not assume the team base fee is a single flat workspace charge. Ask who can enable additional spending and use the current account controls to keep the budget predictable.

Measure accepted work before changing tiers

For one ordinary week, record task, model, usage pool, accepted result, retries, included usage consumed and optional charges. Keep a review-time column so an apparently cheap generation does not hide an expensive correction.

Check the renewal date, account plan rules and whether a legacy plan applies. Retest the same representative task after a plan change; compare both successful results and the cost records rather than an advertised multiplier alone.
